Who are we?
Based on the success of past events, such as the Prishtina Gastronomy Festival, we are a team of visionaries committed to organizing the biggest gastronomy festival that promotes Albanian nationwide cuisine and traditions.
The Global Albanian Gastronomy Festival, a place where Tradition meets Trade, comes as a necessity not only to promote national recipes and products as elements of preserving national identity but also to generate business leads.
We chose Berlin because it has more than 600 diaspora-owned restaurants, contributing to over 20,000 diaspora-owned restaurants, hotels, and other gastronomic businesses around the world.
We are strong believers that the untapped potential of the Albanian Diaspora in the gastronomy sector can generate further business partnerships and promote our gastronomy heritage to new global levels.
Our Mission
Global Albanian Gastronomy Festival is on a mission to promote Albanian heritage, culture, and economic development by showcasing Albanian products and services and by celebrating Albanian rich traditions on a global scale.
At the same time, GAGF will create opportunities for networking and generating business partnerships between Albanian-owned companies and diaspora companies in the restaurant, hotel, and distribution sectors, chefs, food enthusiasts, and industry professionals.
Last but not least, GAGF is on a mission to also promote Albania’s and Kosovo’s tourism and investment potentials, inviting diaspora and international stakeholders, including journalists and tour operators, to visit the fair and explore Albania’s and Kosovo’s offerings in terms of tourism.
